Emergent’s Commitment to Advancing Public Safety Software for Safer Communities

By: Cale Bruckner, COO

According to a report published by The Business Research Company, the global fire department software market is expected to grow from $2.34 billion in 2023 to $2.61 billion in 2024. This increase is fueled by factors like evolving reporting standards, advancements in Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, more funding for emergency services, a rise in fire incidents, community engagement efforts, and improved interagency collaboration.

The rising number of fire incidents emphasizes the need for advanced fire service and greater public safety software solutions. For example, in the United States, fire incidents increased from 1,353,500 in 2021 to 1,504,500 in 2022, underscoring the demand for effective incident management tools. To address these needs, companies are developing advanced IoT solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and personnel management in fire departments.

Looking forward, the market is projected to reach $4.06 billion by 2028. Major trends driving this growth include smart city initiatives, advancements in mobile technology, increased attention to cybersecurity, a focus on community risk reduction, and improved resource management. Additionally, the adoption of artificial intelligence for predictive analytics, the use of IoT devices for real-time monitoring, and the expansion of cloud-based solutions are expected to play pivotal roles in shaping the future of the market.

The data suggests that Emergent is well-positioned to capitalize on increasing demand for advanced incident management and operational solutions. What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
